Appointments
Summary
Appointments does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, usage data, or analytics. There is no account, no login, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs of any kind.
What stays on your device
All content you create in Appointments — messages, journal entries, appointments, meetings, and reflection notes — is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework directly on your device.
Syncing between your own devices
If you use more than one Apple device (for example, an iPhone and an iPad), Appointments can sync your data between them using Apple's CloudKit, through your own personal iCloud account. This sync:
- Uses only your private iCloud database — the developer of Appointments has no access to it.
- Is controlled entirely by your device's iCloud sign-in state and settings.
- Can be disabled at any time by turning off iCloud for Appointments in your device's Settings app, or by signing out of iCloud.
No server operated by Appointments or its developer is involved at any point. Apple's iCloud privacy practices, which govern this sync, are described at apple.com/legal/privacy.
What Appointments does not do
- ✕ No account creation or login of any kind
- ✕ No analytics or usage tracking
- ✕ No advertising or ad tracking
- ✕ No third-party SDKs or embedded trackers
- ✕ No data sale or sharing with any third party
- ✕ No data collection by the developer, in any form
Notifications
Appointments schedules local notifications on your device to remind you of Appointments and Meetings you've created. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on-device and never pass through any server.
Children's Privacy
Appointments does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, an updated version will be posted at this same location with a revised "Last updated" date.
