The short version. Everything the app makes — your puzzles, your photos, your progress — stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded to us, because there is no “us” to upload to: PuzzlePeace has no server, no backend and no account system of any kind.
What we collect
Nothing. The developer receives no personal data, no usage data, no diagnostics and no identifiers from this app.

Your photos
When you make a puzzle, PuzzlePeace asks permission to read the photo you pick. That image is copied into the app's own private storage on your device so your puzzle can be reopened later, and is resized to a size suited to on-screen play. It is not uploaded, backed up to any service of ours, or shared with anyone.
You can also send a photo to PuzzlePeace from the Photos share sheet. That works the same way: the image is handed directly to the app on your device.
Deleting a puzzle in the app deletes its stored photo and its saved piece positions. Deleting the app removes all of it.
Playing with someone nearby
PuzzlePeace can sync a puzzle with another person in the same room using Apple's Multipeer Connectivity, which connects devices directly over the local network and Bluetooth. This is why the app asks for local network permission.
- A connection only happens when you deliberately invite someone or accept an invitation.
- What travels between devices is the puzzle: the photo being solved and the positions of the pieces.
- That data goes device to device. It does not pass through a server owned by the developer, because none exists.
As with anything sent over a shared network, only play with people you trust.
Showing the board on a TV
If you mirror your screen to an AirPlay display, PuzzlePeace shows an overview of the puzzle board on it. That happens entirely between your device and your display, using Apple's own AirPlay. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.
Tracking
PuzzlePeace does not track you. It does not link any data to your identity, does not follow you across other apps or websites, and contains no advertising or attribution frameworks.
Children
PuzzlePeace is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either.

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date below. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
